📍 Position Overview
The Diocesan School for Girls (DSG) is offering a General Internship programme for young women who are passionate about teaching and learning, and who aspire to pursue a career in education. This internship provides valuable professional experience in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Teaching Practice: Observe, assist, and complete teaching practice in the classroom under the mentorship of experienced teachers.

Pastoral Care: Contribute to the pastoral care of students through duties in a boarding house, tutoring, and bus duties.

Sports Coaching & Management: Assist in coaching sports or managing sports teams (where appropriate).

Clubs & Cultural Activities: Support the organisation and management of clubs and cultural activities.

Community Engagement: Actively contribute to DSG’s community engagement programme.
✅ Ideal Candidate Requirements

Age: Female candidates under the age of 25.

Academic Pathway: Currently pursuing a B.Ed degree (Senior and FET Phase) or planning to register for a PGCE at Rhodes University or through distance learning.
