Unitrans is seeking a General Worker to assist drivers with the loading and offloading of trucks, and to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to carry out various general tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist truck drivers with loading and offloading goods.

Ensure that outside walkways remain clear and free of debris.

Notify building management of any repairs or maintenance required.

Perform cleaning duties throughout the premises.
-
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors.

Perform ad hoc duties as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Medically fit to perform physical tasks.
-
Reliable and able to adhere to safety standards.
-
Prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Clean criminal record.
-
Must have own reliable transport to and from work.

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.

Physical stamina: Able to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a part of a team.

Organizational skills: Must be able to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.

Self-motivation: Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.

Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4.
