Role Overview
Amedeo College seeks a Grade 5 Co-Teacher who is passionate about working with children who require a more individualised and creative learning approach. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, empathetic educator with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and collaboration in a co-teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.

Plan and deliver hands-on, multisensory lessons tailored to individual learning styles.

Foster creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence in learners.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Participate in after-school clubs and sports activities.

Contribute to the school’s innovative and learner-focused culture.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Intermediate Phase Education (required).

Experience supporting children who need one-on-one or remedial assistance (beneficial).

SACE registration and police clearance (mandatory).

Own reliable transportation required.

Computer literacy and effective communication skills.

First Aid certification advantageous.
Experience
-
2–3 years of classroom teaching experience (preferably in the Intermediate Phase).
