Job Summary
This Graduate Development Programme provides an opportunity for Chemistry graduates to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance, analytical method development, and ISO 17025 compliance within a laboratory environment.
Minimum Requirements
-
Four-year qualification (NQF 8) in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.

Experience in research projects and laboratory techniques.
Primary Duties
-
Develop and improve analytical methods in the field of Analytical Chemistry.
-
Conduct analyses and troubleshoot issues related to test methods and instrumentation.
-
Document and verify results in designated databases.
-
Perform and document all quality control checks in compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
-
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure appropriate documentation is kept.

Adhere to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) practices and maintain good housekeeping in the lab.
Knowledge

Strong understanding of analytical chemistry methods and techniques.

Knowledge of good laboratory practice (GLP).

Basic statistical knowledge.

Familiarity with project management concepts.
