Job Advert Summary
The Graduate Intern: Data Analytics will play a key role in managing and optimizing data architecture, ensuring smooth data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The intern will also build and automate solutions (such as dashboards) to provide actionable insights into customer management, operational efficiency, and other critical business performance metrics.
Minimum Requirements
Education:

B.Sc in IT (Data Engineering) or a similar degree.

Postgraduate degree in IT – Data Engineering (preferred).
Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of database and query solutions, with proficiency in SQL.

Working familiarity with Power BI and other visualization engines.

Understanding of best practices in the financial services or graduate professional client market.

Knowledge of information management practices, including data lifecycle management, data modeling, master data management, and business audits.

Appreciation of the need for consistency in data management and data governance.
Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the Analytics Data Warehouse and Data Pipeline environments.

Automate and audit data flows to ensure clean and available data for teams.

Manage data governance processes such as quality, accessibility, ownership, and security.

Engage with stakeholders to understand their data practices and meet their expectations.

Identify opportunities to improve business processes by researching and recommending initiatives for enhancement.

Collaborate with IT and Business teams to design and implement data strategies and systems that support various initiatives across the organization.

Work with IT to source and load data into the data lake for further use by analysts and developers.

Assemble large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.

Create data tools for the analytics and data science teams to optimize products and services.
