This 24-month graduate internship is for aspiring financial advisors starting in February 2026. The role’s main focus is to provide professional financial advice to clients as an accredited PPS representative. You will represent PPS on the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) representative register. The successful candidate will source and build a client base of graduate professionals and offer tailored financial solutions in line with their needs.

After completing the program, successful candidates will transition into commission-earning financial advisors specializing in long-term insurance, wills, investments, and wealth management for post-graduate and professional markets.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • NQF Level 7 qualification (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, bachelor of technology, or advanced diploma).

    • Preference for Post Graduate Diploma/ Honours in Financial Planning or Financial Planning Law.

Experience:

  • None required – This is a graduate position.

  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

  • Target-driven, with a hunger to influence clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Find prospective clients through various channels.

  • Cold Calling: Engage prospective clients through phone calls.

  • Networking: Build a professional network within the graduate professional market.

  • Client Meetings: Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective clients.

  • Proposals & Solutions: Prepare and present financial solutions to prospective clients.

  • Onboarding & After Sales Care: Manage client onboarding and provide after-sales service.

  • Financial Advice: Provide tailored financial advice to meet clients’ needs.

  • Worksite Marketing Events: Organize and set up small marketing events at client offices.

  • Building Client Base: Build and maintain a personal client base.

  1. Eligibility: Only South African citizens with a NQF Level 7 qualification, final-year students, or recent graduates under the age of 34 will be considered.
