GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2025 TO 2027 (24 Months)

General Information:

  • Duration: 24 months (from date of appointment).

  • Stipend: R7,860.50 per month.

  • Application Method: Applications must be submitted as a single scanned document (one PDF) through email. Alternatively, they can be couriered or hand-delivered to the Department’s HR division in Bloemfontein.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Applicants must have a National Diploma or Degree (at NQF level 6 or 7) in the relevant field, as recognized by SAQA.

  • Experience: This program is primarily for candidates entering the public service environment for the first time.

  1. Risk Management

  2. Internal Audit

  3. Infrastructure (Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, Quantity Survey)

    • Ref No: IF / 3

    • Requires: Degree / BTech in Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, or Quantity Survey.

  4. Health and Safety Management

    • Ref No: HS/4

    • Requires: National Diploma in Health and Safety Management or equivalent.

  5. Employee Assistance and Wellness

    • Ref No: EAP/5

    • Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Human/Social Science or equivalent.

  6. Human Resource Management

    • Ref No: HRM/6

    • Requires: National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

  7. Communications

    • Ref No: CM /7

    • Requires: National Diploma in Media Relations/Communication and Marketing.

  8. Graphic Design

    • Ref No: GD /8

    • Requires: National Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent.
