About the Programme
The Western Cape Government invites unemployed South African graduates residing in the Western Cape to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme 2025/2026. This Youth Development Programme provides successful interns with practical work experience for 3–24 months across various government departments.
Eligibility Requirements

South African citizen residing in the Western Cape.

Age between 20–35 years.

Completed qualification in one of the following:

Certificate (NQF 5)

Diploma (NQF 6)

Degree (NQF 7)

Postgraduate Qualification (NQF 8+)

Financially constrained applicants without career support networks are preferred.
