NOTE:

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is offering opportunities for unemployed South African university graduates who have not been exposed to work experience related to their qualifications.

Application Process:

  • Quoting the Reference Number: Ensure you use the correct reference number for the province you are applying to.

  • Documents Required:

    • Fully completed Z83 form (the new Z83 form is available on the government website at www.gov.za/documents)

    • A recently updated CV

    • An affidavit confirming that you have not participated in a similar graduate programme before

  • Non-South African Citizens: If you hold a foreign qualification, you must submit a SAQA evaluation certificate once shortlisted.

Important Information:

  • Failure to use the correct form (old Z83 form will not be considered).

  • Ensure the Z83 form is signed and initialed properly—failure to sign the form may result in disqualification.

  • Late applications and incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Shortlisting: Only candidates shortlisted for the interview will be contacted, and only those candidates will be required to submit additional documentation prior to the interview.

  • Security Vetting: The successful candidates will undergo security clearance and competency assessments.

  • Disqualification: Applicants must declare any pending criminal, disciplinary, or other investigations during the application process. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Security Vetting and Final Selection:

  • All candidates will undergo thorough security vetting (criminal record check, citizenship, credit record, qualification verification, and employment history).

  • Candidates with conflicts of interest, membership in boards, or directorships must declare them.

  • If an applicant is appointed but fails the vetting process, their appointment will be terminated.
