Salary: R163 680 – R192 810 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term (3 years in some posts)
Requirements: ABET / Grade 10, relevant experience, semiskilled in plumbing, electrical, bricklaying, carpentry, or mechanical trades. Must be physically healthy, willing to learn, and able to perform multiple trades. Trade certificates are an advantage.

Core Duties:

Handyman services at courts: repair/replace furniture, fit globes and plugs, unblock toilets/basins/drains, fit doors and locks

Minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work

Relocate office equipment, coordinate removal of damaged items

Conduct routine building inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

Oversee maintenance by service providers

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and departmental standards

Record and report all maintenance and repairs
