🧾 Job Overview:
Fedics is looking for a qualified Head Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations — from menu design and food preparation to staff management and cost control. The role requires creativity, leadership, and a strong understanding of food safety standards.
✅ Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for purchasing, food prep, and presentation.

Design and implement menus creatively and effectively.
-
Drive cost-effective production, ensuring profitability and best practices.
-
Maintain hygiene standards and ensure 90%+ scores in external audits.
-
Enforce and maintain HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
-
Ensure weekly stock takes, proper stock rotation, and cost controls.
-
Maintain all FEDICS GMPs, QA documents, and SOPs.
-
Manage food and beverage cost of sales (COS) in line with targets.
-
Maintain security and condition of equipment, uniforms, and food stock.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary culinary qualification

Associate Culinary Degree (preferred)

2–3 years head chef/kitchen management experience

Proven cookery experience

Driver’s license (advantageous)
