Position Summary
The Head of Campus Sport and Senior School Physical Education will report to the Executive, Senior School Head, and Junior School Head. The role involves managing, coaching, and teaching to promote broad participation and high achievement across all sports programmes.
Minimum Requirements
-
Appropriate 4-year degree
-
Registered with SACE
-
5–7 years’ experience running a sports department
-
Experience in planning, coordinating, implementing, and teaching the Senior School Physical Education curriculum
-
Coaching experience in Senior School sport
Key Responsibilities
-
Coach sport and manage athletic development programmes
-
Assist in planning, implementing, and managing campus sport initiatives
-
Coordinate sports functions, tournaments, and festivals
-
Handle administrative duties within the Sports Office
-
Mentor and support department members
-
Promote participation and a love of sport among students
-
Coordinate co-curricular schedules (sport, music, culture, academics)
Additional Requirements
-
Extensive rowing, squash, and/or athletics coaching experience

Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative, and computer skills
-
Willingness to assist with tours, camps, and transport (PDP required)

Completion of Designated Safeguarding Officer and First Aid courses

Clearance under the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register

Commitment to the school’s Christian ethos and values
