The ADvTECH Schools Division, a leader in the private education sector, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of School to lead the academic and operational activities at Trinityhouse Glenvista Preparatory. The role requires a dedicated and visionary leader committed to developing sustainable educational practices and achieving high performance within the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute academic policies and procedures for all academic and support staff.

Ensure effective timetabling and resource allocation.

Manage performance reviews and corrective actions for academic and support staff.

Lead and manage the school to achieve set objectives and maintain a high-performance environment.

Work closely with the HRBP and HRC to implement strategic Human Resources policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Employment Equity targets and focus on the development of black candidates.
-
Lead marketing initiatives to meet enrollment targets and maintain a positive school image.

Manage the school’s budget in collaboration with the Executive Head.

Supervise debt collection and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Ensure compliance with OHS Act regulations and oversee health and safety requirements.

Manage exam registrations and legislative compliance.

Qualifications:

Recognized Degree and/or a 4-year professional Teaching Qualification.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a similar educational environment.
