Fedics, part of Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to manage and ensure compliance with all food safety and health & safety procedures in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Safety Procedures: Coordinate and ensure that health and safety procedures are consistently followed by all employees.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to the OHS Act and statutory requirements at all times.

Inspections & Audits: Conduct unannounced inspections, audits, and investigations to identify and implement corrective actions.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, food samples, and other related reports as per company and statutory requirements.

Staff Safety Awareness: Continuously promote and raise health and safety awareness among staff.

Administrative Tasks: Process and maintain required safety documentation and reports to ensure compliance and facilitate queries resolution.

Cleanliness & Hygiene Standards: Ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are adhered to across the sites.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Essential)
-
SAMTRAC and/or recognized Health & Safety Qualification (Essential)

2 years’ job-related experience in health and safety

Experience managing a SHE system
-
Knowledge of OSH Act Policies and Procedures
