Position Overview
St Patrick’s CBC, a leading Private Independent Catholic school in Kimberley, seeks an experienced Afrikaans First Additional Language teacher for Grades 8–12. The successful candidate will join a dynamic educational team serving over 1000 pupils from ECD to Grade 12, with a commitment to academic excellence and values-based education.
Qualifications & Requirements

Relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) with specialisation in Afrikaans

SACE registration
-
Proven experience teaching Afrikaans FAL to FET phase (Grade 12)

Passionate about extracurricular and cultural involvement

Commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school

IEB experience (advantageous)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Technologically adept, using innovation to enhance teaching

Willingness to be fully involved in school life and collaboration
