Position Overview
Dainfern College is seeking a part-time High School Aquatics Coach to develop young athletes in swimming and water polo. This role offers the opportunity to foster competitive excellence and a lifelong love for aquatic sports while supporting the College’s sporting vision.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct engaging training sessions for U14–Open age groups in swimming and water polo

Coach and manage teams during galas, fixtures, tournaments, and festivals

Develop players’ technique and technical skills

Collaborate with Heads of Aquatics/Sports to align with the College’s vision

Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined training environment
Requirements
-
Proven experience coaching swimming and water polo at school or club level
-
Relevant coaching qualification or accreditation (preferred)

Strong communication and organisational skills

Availability for part-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends

Commitment to the values and Christian ethos of Dainfern College

Provision of a police clearance certificate and NRSO clearance certificate
