Position Overview:
Gratton School in Eshowe is seeking an experienced and passionate High School English HL Teacher to join their growing team. This exciting opportunity involves teaching English Home Language (HL) to students in the GET/FET phases. The ability to teach IsiZulu or Afrikaans as a First Additional Language (FAL) would be an added advantage. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in teaching English literature, poetry, and drama.
Key Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in English HL within the CAPS curriculum.

SACE registration is a requirement.

Applicable professional/academic qualification to assume responsibility for all subjects in the required phase.

The candidate must be currently teaching HL in the GET/FET phases.

Strong ability to teach literature, poetry, and drama.

South African citizenship, residency, or valid work permit is required.
