Position Overview
Michael Mount Waldorf School is seeking a qualified and experienced High School Physical Science Teacher to join their faculty from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Grades 9–12, including Matric (IEB syllabus), within the holistic framework of Waldorf education.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Physical Science to high school learners, up to Grade 12 (IEB)

Engage students using creative and open-minded teaching methods

Contribute to a collaborative faculty working within the Waldorf ethos

Participate in ongoing self-development and team-based education practices
Requirements
-
SACE registered (essential)
-
Police clearance certificate (essential)
-
Recognised teaching qualification
-
2–5 years’ experience teaching Physical Science at high school level

Experience teaching the IEB Matric syllabus is required
-
Passion for Waldorf education and interest in holistic teaching methods

Ability to integrate into a highly individual and collaborative faculty
