Position Overview:
The Board of Governors is in search of a suitably qualified, dynamic educator who believes in the potential of every young person and thrives on being innovative. This individual will be excited to work in a future-focused school and will understand the dynamics of a community-based institution with great aspirations. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Head of Department (HoD) Humanities to provide expertise in preparing students for the IEB History examination and SBA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Commit to professional development and the refinement of teaching practices.

Participate in collaborative planning and teaching.

Provide subject-specific guidance under the HoD Humanities.

Engage with pastoral, cultural, and extracurricular activities.

Integrate IT into the teaching programme.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Requirements:

A relevant degree / PGCE specialising in History.
-
Minimum of 3–5 years teaching experience, up to Grade 12 (preferred).

IEB teaching and marking experience (preferred).
-
SACE-registered.
Commencement: January 2026 (Negotiable)
