The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold suitable academic and professional qualifications

Have prior experience as a Head of Department

Be responsible for the quality of planning, teaching, and assessments in Science

Manage and resource a dynamic Science Laboratory
-
Have knowledge and/or experience with STEM/ESTEAM curricula
-
Have familiarity or experience with the Cambridge Primary Programme
-
Be a dynamic, driven educator with a passion for educational excellence
-
Foster independent learning and self-reliance in students
-
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
-
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Stay current with technological trends in education
-
Be a strong administrator with excellent organisational skills
-
Show initiative and follow through on new developments

Uphold and model the Christian ethos and values of the school

Possess a warm and nurturing disposition

Be involved in the Co-Curricular Programme

Be registered with SACE
