Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Intern, you will provide essential administrative support and assist in key HR functions, including file audits, employee engagement, and training and development. You will gain hands-on exposure to various HR processes, such as payroll, recruitment, and employee growth initiatives. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and deep insights into HR operations, preparing you for a dynamic career in human resources.


Qualifications:

  • Matric or Grade 12.

  • National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite.


Attributes:

  • Proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail.

  • Multilingual ability, with a strong command of English and at least one African language is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated, honest, high integrity, courteous, and helpful.

  • Ability to function well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and act on them accordingly.

  • Strong ability to work both independently and in a team.

  • Familiarity with HR systems will be an advantage.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring proper filing of HR paperwork (digital and physical).

  • Maintaining and updating employee records.

  • Coordinating onboarding processes for new hires.

  • Ensure accurate payroll input and timely submission.

  • Provide administrative support in the release of adverts, shortlisting candidates, and setting interviews.

  • Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops.

  • Prepare training materials and track attendance.


Working Hours:
This is a 45-hour per-week position, with the possibility of additional hours when required.
