ICT Contracts & Projects Administrator

Location: SANRAL COC Offices, 36 Assegai Wood Road, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, Gauteng

Position Objective

The ICT Contracts & Projects Administrator (ICT CPA) reports to the ICT Project Manager and works under the supervision of Project and Contract Managers. This role provides coordination, support, and assistance across ICT projects and contracts. Responsibilities include project and contract administration, vendor support, reporting, presentations, stakeholder liaison, and facilitating meetings in the absence of the Project or Contract Manager.


Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in IT or Project Management

  • Project Management Certification (CAPM, PMP, Scrum, PRINCE2, etc.)

  • 3 years’ experience in ICT project/programme administration

  • SAQA evaluation for international qualifications (if applicable)

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management software

  • Knowledge of PMBOK, SDLC, Agile, Scrum frameworks

  • Ability to prioritise, organise, and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Vendor and contract management experience


Key Responsibilities

Project & Contract Support:

  • Administer assigned ICT projects, track risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Support stakeholders with operational tasks and project change management

  • Prepare and update project reports, dashboards, and communications for executive decision-making

  • Assist with project financial and resource management

  • Facilitate project administration: meetings, agendas, and minutes

Contract Management:

  • Support procurement processes from tender registration to awarding

  • Handle invoicing and vendor management tasks

  • Manage contract change control and escalate non-compliance or performance issues

  • Assist Project Managers with outsourced ICT contract management

Project Knowledge & Configuration:

  • Maintain project documentation and management tools

  • Administer centralised project document repository and ensure compliance

  • Train users on document management systems and facilitate process changes
