💰 Salary: R85 620 per annum (3/8th of Level 05) + 37% in lieu of benefits

📌 NOTE: Preference will be given to applicants living near the correctional centres.

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate

• Computer literacy and accuracy

• Nomination/Recommendation Letter from a community organization (not older than 6 months) — mandatory

• Good communication skills (verbal & written)

• Public spirited, assertive, and a team player

• Knowledge of Batho Pele principles

• Driver’s license is an advantage

📋 DUTIES:

• Daily visits to correctional centre

• Engage with inmates and DCS officials about complaints

• Monitor conditions and report findings

• Report deaths, segregation, mechanical restraints, and use of force

• Support JICS inspections/investigations

• Capture complaints, mandatory matters, and compile reports
