About the Learnership
Boshof Solar Power invites motivated youth from Boshof and Hertzogville to apply for its 3-year Industrial Electrician Learnership.
The programme combines theoretical and practical training through the Artisan Training Institute (ATI), preparing learners to qualify as Industrial Electricians.
This initiative aims to:

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science, OR

N2 Certificate with 4 relevant trade subjects

Must pass a medical job-fit assessment (RFA)

Must reside in Boshof or Hertzogville (Tokologo Local Municipality)

Must be 18–30 years old

About Boshof Solar Power
Boshof Solar Power is a 66MW photovoltaic (PV) power plant in the Free State, operational since 2014.
It produces approximately 132 000 MWh of clean energy annually and contributes to South Africa’s grid under the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
The plant is committed to sustainability, skills development, and community upliftment, ensuring local residents benefit from renewable energy opportunities.
