DUTIES:
-
Plan and independently conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
-
Investigate reported cases independently and enforce compliance with labour legislation where necessary
-
Plan and conduct regular proactive (blitz) inspections to monitor employer compliance
-
Conduct advocacy campaigns on all labour legislation independently
-
Draft and maintain inspection plans and reports, including analysis and compilation of consolidated statistical reports for allocated cases
