Job Description
The King’s College & Preparatory School is seeking to appoint an experienced First Additional Language (FAL) Afrikaans teacher for the Intermediate Phase. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, passionate educator with a track record of engaging and inspiring learners in a progressive, values-based environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

A recognised teaching qualification

SACE registration (compulsory)

Proven experience teaching FAL Afrikaans (ISASA school and IEB curriculum experience advantageous)

A strong foundation in core teaching skills

Aptitude for innovative teaching methodologies

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

A patient and cooperative mindset

Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities

Willingness to handle assessment, exam setting, marking, and moderation
