Job Description

Looking for an internship that will give you real-world experience and help you build practical skills? Sage is seeking Customer Experience Interns to join our team and work directly with customers and partners across our Payroll, Accounting, and HR services.

This internship gives you an opportunity to develop skills in customer service, problem-solving, and communication, while learning from one of the world’s leading tech companies.


Key Responsibilities

What the programme includes:

  • Telephonic engagement with existing Sage customers

  • Resolve issues on customer accounts and educate them on support channels

  • Teach customers how to use Sage IVR and customer portals

  • Capture and update customer information on internal systems

  • Identify trends during interactions and report them to team leads

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client queries

  • Gain exposure to the full customer journey and business processes at Sage


What Will Make Me Successful?

✅ Grade 12 certificate
✅ A diploma or degree (advantageous)
✅ Basic Microsoft Office skills
✅ Excellent telephone etiquette
✅ Understanding of the Accounting, Payroll, or HR environment
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently and in a team
✅ Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
✅ Clear criminal record

  • Midrand, Johannesburg

  • Hybrid Work (3 days/week in office)
