Job Responsibilities:

Risk-based audit planning: Design and execute audit programs and procedures aligned with VKB’s methodology.

Audit execution: Conduct detailed fieldwork and prepare comprehensive audit reports.

Internal control enhancement: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvements.

Leadership: Review the work of junior internal auditors and manage SAICA trainees.

Data analytics: Implement proactive auditing methods, including data analytical models and procedures.

Collaboration: Work with managers to gather insights and explain findings during audits.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 or NQF4 (required).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Auditing (SAICA or CIA-accredited).

3 years of experience in auditing (with completed articles).

Strong understanding of audit principles, internal control frameworks, and risk assessments.

Valid driver’s license (Code 8); willing to travel.

Ability to operate independently, while also being a strong team player.

Proficiency with Arbutus Analyzer and Power BI (preferred).
