Our client, a well-established company in the Engineering Sector based in Boksburg, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Intern to join their team for an 18-month internship. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, dealer support, and data-driven decision-making, while contributing to real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities by analyzing customer segments, regional trends, and product penetration.

  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of customer and product master data to ensure seamless sales processes.

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and dealers, helping resolve queries, track orders, and ensure timely communication.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to roll out targeted campaigns aimed at improving hit rates and conversion.

  • Help maintain CRM systems and generate reports to track sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and dealer engagement.

  • Assist in refining customer segmentation models to enable more personalized and effective outreach.

  • Identify inefficiencies in internal sales processes and propose solutions to enhance productivity and responsiveness.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree (completed or in final year of studies) in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or Data Analytics.

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with CRM systems is a plus.

  • A passion for sales operations, market intelligence, and customer engagement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team.

  • Curiosity to understand market dynamics and customer behaviour.
