Job Description
Lynford School is offering an internship opportunity for individuals studying towards a B.Ed, Intermediate Phase Degree or Foundation Phase Degree. The intern will work closely with qualified teachers and engage in various school activities. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in education, specifically as a Preparatory School or Pre-School teacher.
Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in different aspects of the school’s activities, events, and classes.

Contribute willingly to the co-curricular sporting program.

Demonstrate excellent administrative and communication skills.

Be an active team player in all school-related functions.

Pursue further studies in education and show a genuine desire to become a teacher.

Take opportunities to enhance professional development.

Support and align with the Christian ethos and values of the school.

Proficient in English for learning, teaching, and communication purposes.

Demonstrate strong IT skills for both administrative and teaching tasks.

Display a high level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:

Currently studying towards a B.Ed degree (Intermediate Phase or Foundation Phase).

A Police Clearance Certificate.

Strong desire to become a Preparatory School or Pre-School teacher.

Willingness to actively engage in all school activities and support the school’s mission.
