Role Overview
Micklefield School invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for a 1-year InterSen Phase Teaching Internship starting 1 January 2026. This position is ideal for graduates who have completed their teaching degree by the end of 2025 and will be entering their first year of teaching in 2026.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant should:

Be enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, and creative

Take initiative in the classroom and in extracurricular activities

Be highly proficient in English

Have excellent computer skills (and a willingness to develop them further)

Have strong interpersonal skills

Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school

Assist with Aftercare one afternoon a week

Be willing to be involved in school and sporting activities
