Role Overview
The IT Services Specialist will provide technical and administrative support for Sanlam’s online trading clients and internal systems, including:
1. Client Service:
-
Client setup, troubleshooting, and technical support via phone/email
-
Granting login access, resetting passwords, and advising on order management
-
Training end clients on online trading platforms
2. Website Development & Maintenance:
-
Update content via FTP and CMS systems
-
Develop and program webpages
-
Address web-related queries and assist in testing
3. IT Systems Management:
-
Minor troubleshooting using Microsoft .NET
-
Generate ad hoc reports via SQL
-
Monitor data files, JSE prices, and corporate actions
-
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for online trading platforms
-
Security management, audits, and certificate renewals
-
Support internal users with training as required
4. Admin Assistance:

General support for the admin team
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
-
Transact-SQL skills
-
Exposure to web development and frameworks
-
JSE Dealers Exam or commitment to obtain
Preferred:

Basic understanding of investments and stockbroking
-
Previous IT helpdesk experience
-
Fluency in Afrikaans
