About the Role
A growing US-based company is seeking a remote IT Support Specialist to provide first-level support to clients and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to operate independently in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Offer first-line technical assistance via email, phone, and remote tools

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networks

System Maintenance: Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of systems and applications

User Support: Provide clear guidance and training to users on system use

Escalation: Identify complex issues and escalate them to senior tech teams

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tickets, resolutions, and configurations

Software Deployment: Help with installation and updates of applications

Network Assistance: Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, VPNs)

Incident Tracking: Analyze recurring issues to reduce future downtime
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience

2+ years in IT Support (customer-facing or remote preferred)

Remote support for international clients is advantageous
Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of Windows, macOS, or Linux

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Experience with remote support and ticketing systems

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
