Job Purpose

The IT Technician provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure smooth IT operations within the Call Centre. The role involves responding to helpdesk queries, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting senior technicians to ensure optimal performance of systems and infrastructure.


Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 – Essential

  • CompTIA A+, N+, and Microsoft Certification


Required Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT support or technical maintenance

  • Clear ITC record (Non-Negotiable)

  • Clear criminal record (Non-Negotiable)


Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent technical aptitude

  • Ability to perform under pressure

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Effective teamwork and communication skills

  • Strong organisation and time management abilities

  • Familiarity with Virtual Desktops, Citrix, AWS, and network troubleshooting


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming support calls via the IT Helpdesk

  • Maintain all hardware and software within the Call Centre

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related queries promptly

  • Assist senior IT technicians with projects and maintenance tasks

  • Identify and report risks or technical issues

  • Ensure 100% service delivery for all support requests

  • Prepare and configure IT equipment for new employees
