Position Overview:
Montego Pet Nutrition is looking for a dedicated IT Technician to join their team in Graaff-Reinet. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of ICT equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve hardware installations, repairs, and troubleshooting, all while maintaining the high standards of Montego’s technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Installations:
-
Install and test various tech systems such as cameras, surveillance equipment, access control systems, gate motors, alarms, LAN, server components, and video conferencing systems.

Ensure everything works seamlessly and alert senior staff when ready for commissioning.

Equipment Maintenance & Repairs:
-
Repair and replace faulty equipment, including cables and gate motors.

Conduct thorough testing to ensure all systems function perfectly.

Education:

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

Code B Driver’s Licence

Scissor Lift Certification

Technical Training (on-the-job experience is highly valued)
