Role Overview
Intelligent Debt Management (IDM) is seeking a Junior IT Technician to provide hands-on support for the company’s IT infrastructure. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain experience in troubleshooting, user support, and IT operations while working closely with an experienced IT team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.

Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Monitor and maintain internal IT systems for optimal performance.

Collaborate with the IT team to improve internal processes and procedures.

Manage and resolve support tickets according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.

Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or technician role.

Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and common operating systems.

Familiarity with helpdesk systems and remote support tools.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Awareness of IT security best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
