About the Role
A reputable automotive company in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a skilled IVR Technician to conduct inspections and evaluations on trade-in, buyback, and trade-back vehicles. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-inspections, evaluation, and intake inspections on buyback, trade-back, and trade-in vehicles.

Assist the Independent Inspection Organisation with intake inspections.

Determine fair wear and tear on returning vehicles.

Ensure vehicle conditions meet the Buyback Agreement and Buyback Condition Guide.

Conduct planned vehicle audits to ensure buyback vehicles meet quality standards.
-
Report discrepancies on trade-ins or buybacks to the Asset Manager.

Communicate defects from pre-inspections and intake inspections to Service Advisors.

Assist in other inspection areas when workload exceeds capacity.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:

N3 qualification with trade test certificate as Auto Electrician or Diesel Mechanic

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
