Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a qualified Beauty Therapist to join the team at their Benmore store. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional beauty salon environment within a leading retail pharmacy group.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional beauty treatments and creating awareness of skincare and body treatments offered at Dis-Chem Beauty Salons. You’ll also play a key role in client consultation, care, and retention.
📌 Key Responsibilities

Deliver professional facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures.

Provide an exceptional salon experience for every customer.

Address and resolve customer queries, compliments, and complaints.

Stay informed on new products, treatments, and techniques.
-
Ensure all equipment is sanitized and functioning properly.

Manage and report on salon stock levels as required.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Essential:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
2-year National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
Minimum 12 months’ practical experience in a beauty salon

Computer literacy and basic numerical skills

Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
-
3-year Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
3+ years’ experience in a salon environment
-
Training or experience in:
-
Soft laser, Bio-Magnetic Therapy
-
Microdermabrasion
-
Slimming & Spray tan treatments
-
Additional salon/laser equipment
-

Bilingual (preferred)
