🧾 About the Role:

Fedics is looking for a Cook to join their team, responsible for the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring excellent customer service. You’ll support food production, stock control, and cleanliness in a busy catering environment.

✅ Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality meals, fast foods, and sandwiches.
Ensure high hygiene standards in food prep and kitchen areas.
Assist with stock-takes and manage stock responsibly.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Serve meals with warm, professional customer interaction.
Maintain speed and consistency in food preparation.
Assist with waste removal, washing up, and special duties as needed.
Follow all loss prevention and safety guidelines.

🧠 Skills & Competencies:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a kitchen environment
Experience working as a food service assistant
Prior experience in a retirement facility is required
High standards of workplace behaviour and cleanliness
