Internship Overview
The Institutional Internship Programme 2025 is a 12-month opportunity aimed at empowering unemployed graduates through hands-on experience in local government. Interns will work alongside professional teams, gain practical skills, and contribute meaningfully to community development.
Stipend: R5,300.00 per month (all-inclusive)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Be South African citizens

Reside within the Joe Gqabi District Municipal Area (residency will be verified)

Be unemployed graduates, aged between 18 and 35

Hold a 3-year Degree or National Diploma (minimum 360 credits) in a relevant field
