Job Overview:
St David’s Marist Inanda is seeking a passionate and qualified Academic Enrichment and Support Teacher for the Junior Prep phase. The successful applicant will work with boys to provide learner support, extend students who require additional input, and contribute to a dynamic academic environment. This role requires a professional who is aligned with the school’s Catholic ethos and Marist values.
Applicants Should Meet the Following Requirements:

Display an understanding of the Catholic ethos and Marist values of the school

Hold the necessary degree and professional qualifications and be SACE registered
-
Have a genuine passion for and an in-depth understanding of teaching boys
-
Experience in learner/remedial support and differentiated teaching will be a distinct advantage

Be able to extend learners who need additional input beyond the mainstream curriculum

Demonstrate a proven record of excellence in teaching, reflecting passion, innovation, and vibrancy

Lead, manage, and collaborate with a dynamic academic enrichment team

Show high levels of professionalism and commitment

Be willing and able to contribute to the extra-curricular programme

Possess appropriate technological skills and a willingness to incorporate technology into teaching methodology

Demonstrate the ability to teach reading skills effectively (experience in this area is a distinct advantage)
