Role Summary
St Katharine’s is seeking a visionary educator to lead the integration of digital learning across the curriculum. The Head of Digital Learning and Technology will guide a future-forward digital strategy while ensuring learners grow as ethical, creative, and digitally responsible citizens.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the digital learning strategy across the Junior School

Teach digital subjects including coding, robotics, and digital literacy

Promote responsible digital citizenship and wellbeing
-
Manage IT infrastructure and systems, including cybersecurity and compliance
-
Mentor staff in the use of digital tools and innovation in the classroom

Oversee IT budget planning and procurement
-
Ensure SACE, SA-SAMS, and Lurits compliance
-
Support school-wide digital transformation and technology integration

Collaborate with students, staff, and parents on digital initiatives
Minimum Requirements
-
Professional teaching qualification and SACE registration
-
All safeguarding clearances (Child Protection Act, Sexual Offences Register)

Experience teaching IT, coding, robotics, and digital literacy

Proven ability to differentiate instruction and foster 21st-century skills
-
Demonstrated experience managing school IT systems and cybersecurity
-
Understanding of data protection laws and compliance
-
Administrative skills, including IT asset and report management
-
Budget management experience is advantageous
-
Strong interpersonal, mentorship, and communication skills
