The school invites suitably experienced candidates to apply for the position of Junior School Music and Drama Teacher.
Requirements and Qualities of the Successful Candidate

Responsible for Music and Drama lessons from Grade 00 to Grade 7.

A recognised academic degree, professional teaching qualification, and SACE registration.

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
-
Ability to teach additional subjects within the Intersen Phase would be advantageous.

Experience coordinating Eisteddfods, Public Speaking, and Debating is preferred.

Ability to conduct or train choirs and ensembles is an advantage.

Willingness to research and apply best practices in differentiation, inclusion, and girls’ education.

Proven ability to maintain and develop high standards of student achievement in Music and Drama.
-
Competence with iPads and MS Teams in the teaching and learning process is beneficial.

Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments and teaching music theory.

Experience in directing and coordinating school productions.

Innovative and creative in the classroom.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic team.

Willingness to participate in extracurricular and pastoral care programmes.

Experience working in a multi-cultural context.

Willingness to support and uphold the Anglican ethos of the school.
