About the Internship Programme

KwaDukuza Municipality invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Human Resources Management Internship 2025.
This is a 12-month structured programme offering practical workplace experience within the Corporate Services Business Unit. The initiative aims to promote skills development, youth empowerment, and improved service delivery within the municipality.

Interns will gain hands-on exposure to:

• Recruitment and selection processes

• Employee relations

• HR administration and record management

• Municipal human resource systems and policies

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

• Degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:

  • Human Resources Management

  • Public Management

  • Public Administration

  • Labour Relations Management

  • Or any equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7)

• Local residents must attach a Preferred Employment Opportunity Form signed by a Ward Councillor (for posts below Task Grade 13).
