🏫 Position Overview
Eduplex Primary School seeks an experienced and passionate Learner Support Specialist to lead and manage inclusive education strategies, with a special focus on deaf learners. This role involves close collaboration with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to foster a truly inclusive and supportive school environment.

📌 Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or PGCE with a specialisation in Special Needs

Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience, ideally in an inclusive education setting

SACE registration
-
Fluency in Afrikaans and English
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Provide learner support for deaf learners both individually and in groups

Facilitate teacher training and ongoing professional development in the Eduplex Inclusion Model

Support inclusive classroom practices and staff coaching

Use technology to enhance learning and classroom support

Conduct classroom observations and maintain detailed records

Assist with assessment and accommodation strategies

Engage with parents for continued support of learners

Liaise with external professionals when necessary
