St Dominic’s is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and the Catholic School Office, and offers examinations set by the Independent Examinations Board (IEB).
An opportunity exists for the appointment of a Life Sciences/Science/Natural Sciences teacher in the Senior School. While Life Sciences will be the primary teaching subject, candidates should also be able to teach Science and/or Natural Sciences.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold suitable teaching and professional qualifications

Be registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators)

Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register

Have at least three years of teaching experience (preferably in an IEB school)

Be able to teach an additional subject if required

Be passionate and committed to educational excellence

Be actively involved in the extra-mural programme

Be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft TEAMS

Identify with and support the Catholic ethos, values, and mission of the school
