ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP:
This opportunity is designed for young, motivated individuals who wish to gain practical experience and technical knowledge in a leading manufacturing environment. Successful learners will participate in a structured training programme that combines both theoretical and workplace learning.
POSITION:
Production Technology Learnership
(x10 positions available)
Department: Production
Reporting to: Production Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Matric / Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Science
-
Age between 18 and 24 years
-
Medically fit
-
Fluent in English (read, write, and communicate clearly)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Perform production maintenance activities and report irregularities
-
Apply fundamental principles of production planning, scheduling, and quality assurance
-
Support the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) production line
-
Conduct quality checks, compile production documents, and assist with equipment setup
-
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
-
Handle logistics tasks such as packaging, labeling, and inventory control
-
Collaborate with technicians and operators to meet daily production targets
