About Springfield Convent School

Role Purpose
The Maintenance Assistant will support the upkeep and maintenance of school facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained environment for staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks including woodwork, painting, and varnishing.

Conduct plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work, welding, and paving/brickwork as required.

Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.

Support school operations in line with the Catholic/Christian ethos and values.
Requirements

Experience in at least three of the following:

Plumbing
-
Carpentry
-
Basic Electrical skills
-
Welding
-
Paving and Brickwork
-
General maintenance (woodwork, varnishing, painting)

Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

Understanding and upholding of Catholic/Christian values.
