About the Internship
- Star Retailers, a division within the FMCG sector operating under MANCOSA, is seeking Finance Interns to join its dynamic team. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial operations, including reconciliations, reporting, intercompany invoicing, and more.
Minimum Requirements
- BCom in Accounting or BTech in Cost and Management Accounting (completed)
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- High level of accountability
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced finance environment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with intercompany invoices
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Perform account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Support accounts payable and other financial functions
- Provide general administrative support to the Financial Controller and Management Accountant
