About the Role
This internship is designed for candidates studying towards a diploma or degree in Marketing (or related field) who are eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing administration, social media management, event coordination, and general commercial support.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with optimizing company pages on social media platforms including the Sun Slots App.

Support implementation of social media strategies through research and competitor analysis.

Aid in administrative tasks, including departmental purchases, ordering stationery, and maintaining operational stock.

Take minutes in team meetings and prepare accurate records.

Collate and submit weekly departmental reports.

Coordinate and host guests at off-site events professionally.

Support administration of sporting sponsorships and partner activities.

Liaise with advertising and activation agencies for campaigns.

Assist with staff conferences, internal events, and travel arrangements.

Maintain and update the company’s venue database.
Qualifications & Requirements

Grade 12 certificate; currently studying towards or completed a diploma/degree in Marketing or related field.

Must be a South African citizen.

Recently certified ID and qualifications.

Commitment to a 12-month internship.

Skills & Competencies

Good administrative and report-writing skills.

Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Working understanding of social media for corporate/brand-building purposes.

Interest or some experience in event coordination.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Flexible attitude; able to work occasional evenings/weekends.

English proficiency; knowledge of a regional language is advantageous.
